Relevant to our interests...

Randall Munroe was kind enough to think of us when writing his latest flowchart.

Did laugh a lot with the "Did you make it [the map] yourself?" -> "Yes" -> "It's very nice" -> "Thank you" branch.

Also, was surprised to see Redwall as part of this "list" of imaginary worlds: Middle-Earth, Narnia and Discworld are more mainstream, so to say. But didn't think Redwall was. Probably a branch with Westeros would have been a great addendum, too.

I very much appreciated that. It's always nice to get a compliment. ( ;) )

Also fun was the whole "Are you sure it's a map?" tangent, along with the mouseover text. Then I started thinking about ways to do banshees in TOR...

Yeah, that was a neat diversion. Of course, Redwall's been out for a long time now and he did something like 20 different books so it might be a bit better known that one might think.

It did call to mind the idea that maybe it'd be fun to do one for Middle-earth proper. You could have things like "Does the Shire exist? yes/no" and "Minas Ithil/Minas Morgul", etc.

It starts with my city haha
Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.

It was my first thought too, and I'm sure why he started with it. :)
