Just a note for anyone else considering buying it; I received no order confirmation or postage confirmation so bear that in mind.

However, it arrived today. :)

I'll be sticking it together and undercoating over the weekend.

Never painted a dragon before.

What colour is it going to be?

Bit late now, but on visiting my local GW for paint yesterday I noticed the Dwarf Magmadroth, which actually looks a lot like a Cold Drake...

...obviously minus the angry Dwarf rider.

Was thinking of being as faithful as possible to the description in TfW, so silver and greys... some white as well. I think a blue wash would help as well but I'm a bit nervous as this will be the largest figure I'll have done.

Well, you haven't glued the model to your fingers yet, right? :)

Mirliton Miniatures have a fairly wide range of dragons. I realise the OP already has one but if someone else is in need. Some of their other sections, the dwarves for instance, are also rather nice, though the humans are very 'late medieval' in feel and not really suitable.

Base coat of white now done. It's a *beast* of a miniature. :)

I've picked up this one:

I'm thinking of using it as the Forest Dragon.

Very nice! It certainly lives up to the designation Long-worm.
