Adventurer's Companion news
Re: Adventurer's Companion news
The product description though is based on old information; for instance we know the Captain Calling has had a name change. Personally I'll wait for information provided by C7. I feel we won't have much longer to wait.

Re: Adventurer's Companion news
I'm really hoping there will be one additional combat maneuver per stance, as I think that would add just the right amount of complexity.
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).
Re: Adventurer's Companion news
Yes. I would love to see as many as three more for each stance, actually. But new maneuvers are always welcome. And maybe also more details to called shots...Majestic wrote:I'm really hoping there will be one additional combat maneuver per stance, as I think that would add just the right amount of complexity.

Re: Adventurer's Companion news
And autumn lasts for three months (unless we reckon the seasons as do the Hobbits*), so I wouldn't hold my breath.**Corvo wrote:Three days to autumn.

* When the Hobbits still dwelt in the Vales of the Anduin they adopted the reckoning of the seasons used by the Men of the North (as possibly did the Dwarves inhabiting Rhovanion). Winterfilth (October) was the last month of the old year, before the beginning of winter with the start of Blotmath (November). This counting of the seasons seems to have survived into the Shire Reckoning, although the start of the new year shifted to the day of 2 Yule, before the beginning of Afteryule (January). If we convert from the Shire Reckoning to our Gregorian calendar then the beginning of winter from the perspective of the Hobbits shifts from November 1 to about October 21.
** I originally had no intention whatsoever of turning this post into a mini-essay! I hope it was both interesting and informative.

"Far, far below the deepest delvings of the Dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things. Even Sauron knows them not. They are older than he."
