I've heard "Archive on 4" a few times before. The CBC (plucky colonial equivalent to the BBC) runs a number of international shows overnight on Radio 1.

Honestly, I think I'd go a bit mad without good public radio...

Although it's a fractured archive of a programme in 1968 and there isn't much from the actual man himself, there are some lovely little nuggets within the Archive show. Particular highlights are Tolkien saying how even good can become evil, referencing Sam when he tell Gollum to stop 'pawing' at Frodo, and also him stating he wouldn't have looked forward to meeting Sauron after the ring was destroyed.
