Minor Correction: The Lake-town Sourcebook and Loremaster's Screen were released in 2013, not 2012.

I went to GenCon in August 2012 and picked up the Lake-town supplement. I have a signed Loremaster's Screen from Jon Hodgson.

My mistake. It looks like the official roll-out was in November 2012. Apparently pre-release copies were sold at GenCon.

Well, HotW wasn't really a supplement, but a series of adventures. But, it was still the only major (imo) release for TOR in 2013.

I think you meant to say TfW. And I disagree. That book have many new stuff from monsters, spells to fellowship phase activities. Not just adventures. It is a supplement.

Is that information supplied for what happened in the adventures? If so I rate it as an adventure book, not a supplement. Just my own system.

It's tough but I think we kinda know what to expect now - a slow roll out of products, especially with big changes happening behind the scenes each year (one year Angus going, this year Gareth, illnesses of every kind) and the reshuffle that needs to happen each time. There is definitely a doom on TOR releases but like the heroes in the Hobbit and LOTR, the team struggles through (with at least a few shadow points added).

Once we have seen the Darkening of Mirkwood campaign and the Rivendell sourcebook, I get the feeling we will be moving on - they have a lot covered - a book of adventures/an area guide/a campaign guide within the area/plus the Lake Town guide.

With Rivendell on the border of Rhovanion (the Wilderland) and Eriador - and looking in the Atlas of Middle Earth both areas are "about" the same size. Don't just think Shire, Bree, Lone Lands for Rhovanion - the area touches Ered Luin (the Blue Mountains) to the West and Misty Mountains to the east, as far as Forochel to the North (so including Lake Nenuiel and the Hills of Evendim, and looking towards Tharbad and Eregion to the South. Beyond that is Dunland and Enedwaith, possibly being covered with Isengard and Rohan.
As a sidenote, these areas have looked into quite nicely in LOTRO.

My other guess would be a sourcebook about the Dwarf kingdoms - I'd really liked to see a Dwarf-themed book covering Ered Luin, Moria, the Lonely Mountain and the Iron Hills. Culture, locations, etc - it would make sense to have it all together. That would be the ideal scenario for me, though I am sure whatever C7 do will be great.

So at a guess, we'll see a new area after Rivendell. Let's see, it has taken two years and more for the Wilderland, and I've absolutely loved what they did with that region.

I really think we'll be seeing more of Wilderland before expansion into other regions.

I'd be very surprised not to see a supplement of some kind for Erebor and Dale and the lands around it announced as the next supplement after Rivendell, or if not the next one then the one after. It just makes sense to take advantage of the Hobbit film trilogy, even if the RPG isn't directly related to it.

Definitely Rich, with two Hobbit films out and one more coming out Dec 2014, it would make a lot of sense. Where-ever we go next, I'm along for the full journey.

For my money, I would like expansion to other areas, but I'm happy staying in Wilderland.

IF so, I would hope that after Rivendell (which should include trollshaws region), that they tackled Erebor, and Dale in a supplement - with possible Iron Hills included.

Outside of that, Rohan is my favorite region and would love to expand there. Rohan, Shire & Bree, and Gondor.
