I painted this mini recently, could be used as a Ranger or other human adventurer:

Thanks for posting all the pics, all. The minis (and even the Lego figures) are brilliant! 8-)
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

I use 15mm scale figures from the following ranges:

Essex Miniatures
Chariot Miniatures
Magister Militum
Vexillia
Baueda
Museum Miniatures.
Ral Partha
Demonworld

Plus Games Workshop Goblins work well as big, stupid, stone trolls.
Copplestone Trolls for slightly less bulky versions.

If I knew how I'd post pictures here... advice for a computer illiterate welcome please!?

One of the easiest ways I've found to post pictures on sites like this is to make yourself a (free) Photobucket account. Then upload your pictures to that site (which allows you to quite simply organize them) and then copy and past the link here. It's all pretty simple to do.

Hi Matthew, those links aren't working; you need the full internet address for it - eg: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8426/7568 ... 6700_o.jpg

Also, if you put "Image" (ignore the quotation marks and %20 bits) either side of the http address then it'll display in the post as follows:

Hope that helps.

Hi all,

I've begun a serie of articles about suitable miniatures for our favourite game which will appear in Other Minds magazine. The first one about hobbits is out, along with some other great content:
