Oaths of the Riddermark description from Bree sourcebook
I just noticed this description of "Oaths of the Riddermark is the companion volume to Horse-lords of Rohan, and contains six rip-roaring adventures set in the lands of the Rohrrim! Uncover the mystery of the Westfold Vale horse-killings, keep the peace at a wedding, make a new peace with Dunland, bring horse-thieves to justice, and wage a desperate, pitched battle for the very survival of Rohan itself!"
Maybe I missed it in a previous thread, but it sounds very interesting!!
I thought that perhaps it was more intrigue and less adventure, but now i feel that it will suit our campaign just fine!
Perhaps even some battle rules (I know that there are some great fan made rules out there, but I'm a sucker for the official stuff:))
Really looking forward to the release, after seeing the really high quality of the Bree adventures!
Feel free to speculate about the content with me. Cheers

Well, that certainly beats the sparse description still provided in the Upcoming Releases schedule:
Oaths of the Riddermark – an adventure anthology for Rohan.
"The Laughter of Dragons" an adventure anthology for Dale and Erebor.
"Far, far below the deepest delvings of the Dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things. Even Sauron knows them not. They are older than he."
Re: Oaths of the Riddermark description from Bree sourcebook
That looks very promising. I always wanted the Rohan adventure book to be something like an Arthurian story. A group of King's Men trying to keep the peace in the land. Especially uncovering the mysterious horse killings adventure sounds awesome!
Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.
Re: Oaths of the Riddermark description from Bree sourcebook
Since Rohan is much more populated than Wilderland or Eriador, I'm not surprised the adventures are more focused on things that happen in civilization.

Definitely. I'm really looking forward to it and, perhaps, running a game with all Rohirrim characters.

My last game for a one-shot we all ran Rohirrim. The hook? We were chasing down thieves that stole our horses. Man we were not a happy bunch, LOL

Agreed! These sound like very fitting adventures and should be a welcome addition to the game.Indur Dawndeath wrote: ↑Sun Jul 16, 2017 4:26 pmI just noticed this description of "Oaths of the Riddermark is the companion volume to Horse-lords of Rohan, and contains six rip-roaring adventures set in the lands of the Rohrrim! Grey Seer's post about horses summarizes it well about playing in the lands of the Horse-lords.

I'm looking forward to this too! One of the players in my game is playing a Rohirim character and it would be great to take the fellowship south and complete a series of adventures in her homeland.
