New printings of TOR sourcebooks reference the Revised book?

Hi all,
as the topic says. In particular, I'd like to know whether the new printings of Heart of the Wild and Darkening of Mirkwood still refer to the original slipcase edition of TOR or the Revised core book? I assume they have been reprinted since they haven't been available on the store page for quite some time.

I would assume that any such references would be to the Revised core book.

Usually, if its stated the book is a reprint then that will likely mean no changes to the text have been made, therefore its wiser to assume that references related to the edition of the rules that existed when the book was first released. Updated books with new text references (eg, Tales from Wilderland) are described as revised.

Fair point. Though sometimes corrections and minor revisions do show up in later printings of books without the release of an official new edition. Such corrections have shown up in The Lord of the Rings (example: Samwise's year of birth in Appendix B).

I was talking RPG books and TOR specifically as that's what the OP was enquiring about. Other books are irrelevant to the discussion considering we've had reprints and revised books in this line and how I've described them is how they've been released. You sometimes get slight changes in later reprints but including new book references instead of older editions hasn't been the case so far.

No, I'm not disagreeing with you, Rich, just playing devil's advocate. I could still see typographical errors being corrected between one printing and another though. You're right; the original references are almost certain to be retained.
