The Hall of Fire - issue 2

Post by tomcat » Mon Nov 06, 2017 9:08 pm

Hall of Fire issue 2 starts production this week. We have over 20 article submissions so far of varied types, so content for this issue and future issues are in good supply.

That said, if you have some created content that you would like to submit, send it to:

HOFsubmissions@gmail.com

It is my goal to have the current issue in the proofreaders hands by November 17th and then released by November 27th.

LOL!

The issue is done. Tom got me the proof back over the weekend and I am doing the final touches. I actually was going to announce it tomorrow.

We had a slow down due to the holiday weekend in the States.

Anyway, I will have it up in the Google Drive tomorrow.

Outlanders of Eriador - Addendum

A typographical error (originating with me, not tomcat) worked its way into the description. I never meant to imply that Dunlendings might have a trace of Dúnedain blood. The first couple of sentences should read:
The frontiersmen of Eriador are for the most part former Bree-landers, many descended from the Men of the North. Others may be of Dunlending stock, might carry a trace of the blood of the Dúnedain, or (rarely) might even be Hill-men from out of Rhudaur seeking a new way of life.
Starting Resources: Outlanders should begin with the same starting Endurance and Hope as the Men of Bree:
Endurance and Hope
Endurance: 20 + Heart
Hope: 6 + Heart
A question for Thomas about his "Guide to the Eldar": Would you consider the Grey Havens primarily a Sindar Domain, a Noldor Domain, or both equally? Certainly many of Gil-galad's surviving followers could be found there after Sauron's defeat at the end of the Second Age. At the same time, Mithlond is ruled by Círdan, a Sinda Elf-lord.

"Far, far below the deepest delvings of the Dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things. Even Sauron knows them not. They are older than he."
