Hi all!
In the next session, a bout of madness is almost assured: the Beorning Slayer is already Miserable, and they are engaging Tyulqin in her lair.
I got few episodes of BoM in these years, so I'm wondering if someone can tell me about their past experience, so to draw inspiration
Go figure... Even in my campaign the Beorning Slayer was already Miserable when he was going to confront Tyulqin in her lair.
When the fateful session came, he threw himself against the beast so to die an heroic death... And proceeded at wounding Tyulqin, surviving the combat unscathed and rolled no S rune the whole night
So I cannot help you with any real experience, but I was ready to have him
flee the combat if the madness overcame him.
Why fleeing?
That character is extremely valorous, mindful of his duties and (justly) proud. And his brother in that same fight.
Fleeing the combat would have been a awful Bout of Madness for such a character, and I think that BoM should be awful: something the character should feel ashamed, angry or remorseful for the rest of his life. Boromir's fall is clearly my idea of BoM.
